Weddings are the most special occassion- aside from having children- in a couples life. And, for those that are environmentally conscious, a green wedding is something that can be every bit as elegant as a traditional. For ideas on how to go green, consider the following.
Used recycled paper for the invitations. There are many bridal boutiques that use recycled paper to print their invitations. Make sure to take advantage of this.
Use a green bridal registry. There are many eco-friendly bridal registries online that are tailored for the green bride and groom. Another idea is that instead of having your guests bring presents to the reception to donate to your favorite charity.

Keep the wedding cake elegant but simple.

Induldge in an eco-friendly honeymoon. There are many honeymoons that are geared towards the eco-friendly vacation. Check with your local travel agent and ask for some brochures on the various locations.
